What's New?

I've been looking for a publisher for my first novel and working  on my second one, neglecting to update the site with the list of my recent publications in literary magazines. Maybe one of these days when the second novel is finished. At the meantime, you can see how it is going, shamefully slowly, drop by drop... Life definitely hasn't been helping, but I'll get there, word by word.

My Super-Grip has appeared in the Commuter Lit.

Loosely based on true events. Some interesting feedback from readers on the site. Some like it, some don't. You're welcome to add your feedback.

The Pierced Portrait has been published in Fabula Argentea.

This story is a fictionalized account of my family's WWII history. Almost everything there is true, especially the events that seem the most unlikely.

And this is the pierced portrait itself. See more pictures and details here: The Pierced Portrait -- Fact and Fiction.

A poem about... socks. And why not? Who said that socks don't deserve to be a poetic subject? "Socks" was dictated to me by our dog Nicky and subsequently published in Bewildering Stories.

"You" published in The Gyroscope Review (page 57 in the pdf).

Higlights

My poem "I Am a Ship" has been included into "Poems for a Liminal Age" anthology in support of Médecins Sans Frontières.

In 2014 and 2015 I concentrated on writing my first novel, so even though some new poems and stories have been published, I rarely bothered to update the publications list. 2016 brought mainly personal cataclysms of various magnitude of calamity. In 2017 I spent most of my writing time editing my novel neglecting tracking my  published stories and poems here.

Published in 2016

"Tiny Fingers" in The Linnet's Wings.

"Articles Extinction", "Molly Flanders Forever" and "Eating a Scone"  in Slink Chunk Press.
