Environmental Physics is defined as the application of the Laws of Physics in order to provide a description of the natural environment. We can see that most of the environmental issues like global warming, nuclear waste, ozone layer depletion, energy crisis, air, soil, and water pollution, and, electronic waste etc. can be understood from the perspective of Physics. Hence, the study of Environmental Physics becomes even more important than ever.
As Humans we seek to understand these issues and provide possible solutions to them. We at Environmental Physics will seek to answer these questions. The Group thrives to form into what can be best described as a nodal point for all environmental issues that can be answered through Physics.
As a beginning, we hope to start discssions on environmental issues and how Physics can help us to understand them? We invite physicists , environmentalists, and people from every walk of life to come join in by participating in the continued evolution of this group.
What we stand for?
About IPP- International Professors Project
International Professors Project is a non-profit global network of Professors who have begun working as ”Academic Citizens of the world” on university campuses in developing countries around the world. Our ambassador professors and instructors (which include expatriate, full, associate, graduate, and retired) teach, mentor, and conduct local research as they internationalize college and university faculties in their host countries. IPP is an innovation, inspired in large part by current trends towards globalization. For Detailed Information Please Visit the site: http://www.internationalprofs.org/ |
