This website groups the basic information of 10 projects receiving funding from the European Union (EU) under the Instrument of Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) call for proposals 129799 Support to Partnership Actions between Cultural Organisations. These projects all aim to strengthen the role of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs).


This Call for Proposals forms part of the “Partnership Actions” of the IPA 2009 programme for the Civil Society Facility.

This Facility aims to obtain a civil society friendly society, by strengthening CSOs by providing information and exchange  opportunities via the People 2 People initiative and Technical Assistance to CSOs via TACSO as well.

The aim of this call is to strengthen the role of CSOs and to encourage the development of sustainable partnerships and networks among cultural organisations in order to contribute towards an increased involvement and ownership among CSOs as well as citizens in the cultural field.

The purpose is to promote a transfer of knowledge and experience and to strengthen civil society within a participative democracy and to stimulate a civil society-friendly 'environment' and culture.

Below an overview of the activities (to be) organised by the projects and their partners/stakeholders.It also includes events organised by TACSO and other IPA multibeneficiary projects.
Project leaders, please include any event/meeting/training/workshop you plan to organise. State per event: title, subject area, project name and contract nr. and of course the time and place. If you already know the expected number of participants please provide that information as well. If you know of other interesting events do e-mail these to Henk Visser.
