Groups Meeting in the Area

Groups Meeting at Easter Compton.

Childrens’ Community Drama Group.

A drama group for children is running in Easter Compton Village Hall. There are two groups; from 10.00 am until 10.45 for 4 to 7 year olds and 11.00 am until 12.30 for 8 to 11 years of age. Both Instructors are very experienced in running Drama sessions for children and are CRB checked. The main benefits are increased self-confidence, vocal skills, imagination, creativity and improved social skills. If you’re interested, please give Caroline a ring on 07890 869263.

Easter Compton Brownies.

We meet on a Monday at 6pm till 7.30pm during term time at the Easter Compton Village Hall. Girls between the ages of 7 and 10 welcome. For more information please contact Nicola Antwis on 631364.

Easter Compton Parent and Toddler Group.

Line Dancing for All

We meet every Thursday morning 10.00 - 11.00 in the Mafeking Hall, Pilning. We have 12-15 regular members, but would welcome a few more. Our teacher is fully qualified - and patient! Pilning Angling Club

is a club devoted to Deep Sea Angling. It meets on the last Tuesday of every month for a very informal and friendly meeting at the Cross Hands at 8.00 pm. Pilning Army Cadets, New Passage Road near Severn Beach

We meet every Monday and Thursdays 7:15pm - 9:30pm, giving boys and girls age 12 (year 8) - 18 years old the opportunity to learn new skills and meet new people, also the chance to go away on camps. Pilning Tots’ Time.

Severnside Out of School Club.

We collect children from St Peter’s, Pilning and Severn Beach Primary schools, and entertain them until up to 6pm. Also we are open in all school holidays for all the children aged 4-11 years. St. Peter’s Choir & Festival Choir.

We have electric scooters, wheelchairs etc. which we can loan you, long or short term according to your needs. Stitches Group.

Meet on the 1st Monday of every month at United Church at.7.00-9.00pm. If you enjoy any kind of craft - at any level - quilting, patchwork, embroidery, cross-stitch, knitting, card making etc. why not come along to our next meeting. Monthly First Sunday Walks.

These walks are organised by Peter Tyzack on 01454 632764 email: peter.tyzack@southglos.gov.uk. They all start at 2.30 pm and are around Pilning & Severn Beach. They follow designated ‘Public Rights of Way’ and can be easily managed by an average fit person.
