Do you BELIEVE?

 ...a commentary by Aramal Malik

If we live with all our regrets, then it is a shame that we die with all our beliefs.  For, if we truly believed in something then our actions become the murderer of our confused minds.  The problems of the world would cease to exist.

Yet, in our present day culture, believing, is mearly a sticker on the bumper of our automobiles.  The people who are suffering in the world, continue to hurt because our hypocrisy of beliefs cannot save them.

"I believe in Christ", yet the hungry are starving.

"I believe in a God", yet the suffering are dying.

"I believe in America", even though we are fat and third-world children are underweight.

When will our beliefs become our actions?  When will our beliefs save the world?  At the end of our lives will we have to answer for why we didn't act?...

Then we will know that it wasn't enough to have bumper stickers that say "I believe".  God is not a believer in the idea of man,  He ACTED to create him.  If we find out that action saved a life...

then it should come as no surprise to anyone that believing is only real when we are enslaved by our responses to it.
