The next Financial Management Association (FMA) meeting will be held this coming Monday, October 19, at 7:00 P.M. in 357 College of Business Building. The speakers will be Ms. Aimee Hale and Mr. Robert Lewis, both from branch operations with National City Bank. Aimee is a 2002 ISU College of Business graduate who became the youngest vice president ever in the huge National City organization's history. Robert is a 2008 ISU Finance graduate who was recently promoted to the #2 spot at a large branch in Champaign. The speakers will describe their professional backgrounds, discuss their work in the rapidly changing retail banking environment, and offer advice on career planning. We will also provide an update on field trip plans (trip is scheduled for Friday, November 13, so mark your calendars!). All members, and those who want to join FMA or obtain further information, are encouraged to attend. Pizza will be served at 6:00 or so in room 234 COB for those who want to come early and talk informally with the speakers and fellow ISU Finance students.
