The final Financial Management Association (FMA) meeting of the Fall 2009 semester will be held next Monday, November 9, at 7:00 P.M. in 357 College of Business Building. The speaker will be Mr. Gary Ash, President and CEO of First Farm Credit Services. He hopes to bring along a younger analyst, as well. Mr. Ash holds a BS degree in Finance, and has many years of experience in the farm lending area. The speaker(s) will discuss agricultural finance, a specialized field that has long been an important part of the financial marketplace. They will also describe their professional backgrounds and offer advice on career planning. We will also provide a final update on the November 13 field trip. All members, and those who want to join FMA or obtain further information, are encouraged to attend. Pizza will be served at 6:00 or so in room 234 COB for those who want to come early and talk informally with the speakers and fellow ISU Finance students.
