In an unremitting run for Quality enhancement, Escalating International Linkages, Perking up foreign connections & global image; Bahria University has yet achieved another milestone by inaugurating its International Office for managing, guiding, coordinating and providing services to students, academic & administrative personals for any foreign related work within the University making the process centralized and consequently swift. Headed by Muhammad Awais Mehmood (International Officer BU) International Office will be responsible for:
Ø Communicating & coordinating with foreign universities to foster healthy relationship with our important foreign connections.
Ø Advertising university’s international stance world wide with focus on building new relationships and to attract foreign universities for sturdy and healthy collaboration in the field of education that is of interest to both parties.
Ø Administering the University's Study Abroad and Student Exchange programs with aim of improving quality of studies and strengthening our bi-lateral ties with foreign universities.
Ø Administrating Foreign Scholarship programs for our Students, Faculty Members and Administrative staff.
Ø Assisting & involving academic Faculties and Departments on the establishment and maintenance of bilateral agreements with partner universities.
Ø Keeping our foreign connections well-versed about concerned changes within University so as to build up on our existing partnership with thorough understanding of both parties.
Ø Keeping top management updated with any concerned changes in foreign universities with whom we have strong relationships.
Ø Providing advice, assistance & support to students going abroad for academic activities involving University Name.

An online guest lecture by Dr. Gary Mulholland, Head of MA Leading Innovation & Change programme, York St. John University (UK). An American delegation visited Bahria University Islamabad campus with focus on promotion of media studies & journalism in Pakistan Prof. Cedric Bell, Dean of Kaplan Open Learning (online foundation degrees provider) visited Bahria University Karachi & Islamabad Campus on 30th June & 3rd July 2008. __________________________________ Professor Gordon Campbell, International Advisor University of Leicester, visited Bahria University Islamabad Campus on 26th and 27th May 2008. ___________________________________ A five member delegation from Queen Mary University London visited Bahria University on 22 April 2008. ___________________________________ Bahria University & University of Leicester signed an Agreement of Cooperation. Through this agreement Bahria University students who want to pursue their Masters or Doctoral Degrees in University of Leicester, UK, will be eligible for UL discounted tuition fee. ___________________________________ Bahria University and University of Bedfordshire, UK, signs an MoU to work together & promote collaborative research in Pakistan. ___________________________________ Bahria University students visits USA to attend Harvard National Model United Nations 2008. ___________________________________ Bahria University signs MoU with Chabahar Maritime University - Iran. ___________________________________
