 A listing of component and equipment manufacturers in alphabetic order: ---------------------------- These links represent a large list of both component and equipment manufacturers, including manufacturers of Semiconductors. Normally each page link is sub-divided to keep the page sizes to a manageable level. The links cover companies in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Normally when a company is sold or acquired by another company there is a note that indicates which company purchased or merged with it. In many cases the date of the company acquisition is provided. Sometimes a company is bought and sold a number of times; how ever only the first acquisition is noted. There are a few cases when a company will simply abandon their web address. For example a European manufacturer drops their 'dot' com listing as they move out of that market. The old web address is still listed as a text link to indicate their last known internet address, but there is no guarantee who may have purchased the web address. The listing can be used to locate an electronics company without the added non-relevant links provided by a search engine. Indicate what happen to a manufacturer that can't be located, or indicate what vendor may support an old product line. |
