Weekly meditation group

*NOTE: On Monday, April 2, we will be meeting at the Unity Village Clubhouse instead of our regular location. For directions, please download the pdf "Unity Village Map" from the lefthand navigation bar.

Join us for insight meditation every Monday night (except holidays) from 7-8:30 pm in the Unity Village Administration Building, room 229. (Enter though the security entrance of the Admin. Bldg. and go to the 2nd floor.)

We begin with a 40 minute sitting meditation, followed by 45 minutes of Q & A , instruction and discussion.
Both beginners and experienced mediators are welcome. We are here to support your meditation practice.

Led by Robert Brumet, Community Dharma Teacher. He received certification from Spirit Rock Mediation Center, in Woodacre CA. Robert is an ordained Unity minister and a faculty member at Unity Institute.

Mindful Communication Retreat

Mar 8- 11, 2012 (beginning Thurs 7pm and ending Sunday 4pm)

Robert will be partnering with Lori Woodley, Director of Peace Matters, to present a retreat that combines the practices of Insight Meditation, Insight Dialogue, and Nonviolent Communication (NVC).

Insight Meditation Retreat at the Unity Village Clubhouse
 (nonresidential)
May 3- 6, 2012 (beginning Thurs 7pm and ending Sunday 4pm)

Robert will teach insight meditation and lead us in the practice during this very special time of quiet and peaceful self-awareness.

Our program begins on Thursday evening, May 3 and concludes around 4 pm Sunday, May 6. It includes periods of sitting and walking meditation and yoga stretching. At times Robert will provide instructions, answer questions and be available for consultation.
