About 3 years ago, after our Young Years, I ran into an old friend. Hey Rosalie, I said what have you been doing? She told me she’d been Playing Every Honky Tonk and is Over The Moon about it. I said Wow, I Must Be Dreaming, you’d have to be a Voulez Vous Dancer by now but she had really become a Beautiful Girl just Like A Fine Wine.

Over Black Coffee, she said I’d been Down On Your Uppers, I was just going Smokey Places over Whiskey Bridges on the Heartbeat Highway. I Close My Eyes, had a Change of Heart and for One Good Reason I decided to Walk The Line.  With Empty Pockets I said Let’s Go Driving. I’d had to Pick A Pocket so I could afford to eat Jambalaya in Calypso Mexico.

Previously I’d danced as part of a Celtic Duo with Sweet Caroline and had joined Paddy’s Choir but after playing my Lonely Drum I was now a Lonely Girl. She said Don’t Be Blue come Ride Away and we’ll Chilly Cha Cha, Friday at the Dance. Okay, I said, we’re gonna dance Cheek to Cheek and Bring Down the House.

Now, I’m Knee Deep into it. You could even say a Hot Tamale. I don’t have an Alibis but I’d love to have The Last Dance with You.
