Hello. My name is Eytan Admiralsky, and I am interesting in the just intonation. You have never heard about it, haven´t you? Naturally, because most of the music you have ever heard was performed in the equal temperament. What?

Well, I am not going to bother you with the theory. Just let me assure you, that the just intonation is better than the equal temperament. So, why don´t we use it? You see, we have a conflict between the technical abilities of the musical instruments and the composing techniques of the composers. And the result is a compromise between them – i.e. the equal temperament.

But today... Today we have electronic musical instruments, good mathematical background, and a computer to bring all what we need together. So, one can take any piece of music and play it in the just intonation – which, believe me, sounds better than the conventional equal temperament.
