Sensics xSight

The Sensics xSight is a lightweight HMD design based on the same HDSight panoramic, high-resolution display modules used in the piSight HMD.

 

 

The xSight sets new standards for performance, comfort and weight. It is based on a commercial ski goggle (thus ensuring excellent fit, stability, comfort and ventilation), and weighs just 400 grams (14 oz). The xSight uses many of the same HDSight optical modules that are available both a stand-alone products as well as part of the piSight HMD.

 

Three xSight models are currently available, with identical optical performance to piSight models 123-32, 120-31 and 83-22

Key specifications of the xSight HMD are:

• Field of view (xSight model 6123): 123 degrees diagonal x 45 degrees vertical
• Recommended input resolution: 1680x1050 per eye, @ 60 Hz.
• Video input: two DVI connectors (one for each eye).
• Weight: 400 grams.
• OLED technology for superior brightness, contrast, color gamut and response time.
• Comfortable, low-profile mount
• Exceptional stability on the head

Customers may prefer the xSight in situations that:

• Require minimal weight and maximum stability on the head
• Require low profile (e.g. need to wear HMD under a soldier's helmet or inside a car)
• Strong light blocking is desired
