 A SYSTEM OF NATURAL HEALING

WHAT IS REIKI?

REIKI is a system of natural healing.
It is believed that this healing art dates back to pre-Atlanta times.

Reiki (pronounced rey – ki) is a Japanese word meaning: ‘universal life force energy’.

A century ago, after years of study, research and meditation Dr. Mikao Usui rediscovered the formula for Reiki healing. Reiki is an entirely natural and safe form of healing which restores balance and harmony to all levels – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

It is of benefit to all individuals from young children to the older person. Reiki acknowledges the oneness of all and does not conflict with any religion or belief system.
Reiki is beneficial to both orthodox and complementary therapies.

REIKI TREATMENT

            What to Expect

REIKI treatments are given by a practitioner, gently placing hands on the clients body in a number of positions allowing the free flow of Reiki energy to pass through. The clients lie down fully clothed on a treatment couch. Reiki energy will naturally flow to the areas where it is most needed. Clients can expect to experience a state of deep relaxation and often worth, coolness, tingling or gentle vibrations are felt. The general state of health will determine the number of treatments required. Chronic ailments that have developed over a long period of time usually require a number of treatments. Treatments last approximately one hour.
