Our research is geared toward understanding infants' perception of their worlds throughout the first year after birth,particularly their emerging understanding of communication and language.  We are interested in measuring infants' attention to the rich array of information that is available to them as they become active, social partners in their relationships with others.  In order to better understand infants' perception of speech, and speakers, we use methods that involve the measurement of infants' looking times, heart rate activity, and eye tracking.  We welcome all infants between the ages of 6 and 14 months to participate in our projects.
