Welcome to IndoHerpwatch
The place for finding information on Indonesia's Amphibian and Reptile Fauna

Hi there! My name is Iqbal (that's my hand on the left holding a curled-up Candoia paulsoni). I'm a graduate student  at Mcmaster University in Hamilton Ontario, working under the supervision of my longtime mentor and friend Dr. Ben Evans.

I'm an Indonesian national and that is why my current research topic concerns my beautiful and exotic home. Amphibians and Reptiles are my thing! I'm currently working in the eastern part of Indonesia, Sulawesi and the Molluccan  Islands to be exact. Many of you might know these names to be famous for its coffee and spices, but who figured that they also are the home of some cool amphibians and reptiles! This is my experimental page. So please come back later to see more info. If you can't wait to see more stuff, please feel free to contact me with the address bellow.

In the meantime please enjoy these Images or read these PDFs from my recent papers or presentations. This is a link to the our lab website GO. These are some collaborators that I've been honoured to work with.

Go herping Indonesia!

Om .... jangan ja' ba tebang pohon di hutan .... kasiang torang pe alam!
