My Blog

I will try my best to keep everyone updated on how the trip planning, preparation, and all other "queenly aspects of my life" are going.

March 30: Hello everyone! I know it has been a long time since I have updated this, but I have simply been sooooo busy! I just got back from Oklahoma  about a week ago and I had an absoloute blast at the National Convention. It was amazing to meet everyone, especially the other queens. I was also a great opportunity to see Oklamhoma: I got to see the Cowboy Museum and Hall of Fame, and the Oklahoma city Bombing memorial. A special congratulaitons to Traci on her Open Championship with Ozzie, Annette Pitcher on her Horse of the Year Award, and Brittany on her Youth Championship with Frannie!
I was also super excited to learn that I am a recipient of an Indiana Horse Council Schoarship.! Luckily enough I am done with huntseat boot camp, but I am now moving on to western boot camp. uhoh. We are also getting everything ready for Hoosier Horse Fair. Queen Jelly Bean is all clipped and ready to go, as is Princess Brittany's horse Frannie. Our stall decorations also promise to be super cool, we have a tropical theme!

February 17: I hope everyone is doing well and staying warm! Buggy is now officially (partially/mostly) body clipped and is having no problems staying warm as she is hanging out in her stall under 436334 blankies. I, however have horse hair in places I never knew horse hair could go.... My hunt seat muscles are still mutinizing, as they have not been worked this hard in at least 2 years. If I have to do one more lap of posting without stirrups, my legs might just walk off on their own without me. : ) Tis now the season to start getting Queen Jelly Bean ready for Hoosier Horse Fair, she has plenty of conditioning and another body clipping job to look forward to!
