"Spot-on and highly entertaining!"

"Solidly acted and imaginatively directed!”

"IDS' new production is a real winner!

"Each [actor] delivers Mamet’s dialogue with effortless naturalism."

"Glengarry Glen Ross highlights the cyclical, therefore cyclically destructive, nature of the American capitalist economy."

"A sturdy production with a firm understanding of Mamet’s language and sense of tragedy."

"Another feather in this young company's cap; and you've only got this weekend to catch it, if you want to be able to say you knew them before they hit it big."

January 14-22, 2011

The Plaza Black Box Theatre
at the Boston Center for the Arts
539 Tremont Street in Boston’s South End

Examine the inner workings of a small real estate firm under a job-threatening sales contest. Drawing from current economic turmoil, the Independent Drama Society revives David Mamet's classic examination of working life and how a harsh economy drives good people to desperate action. Mamet’s Tony Award-nominated and Pulitzer Prize-winning drama is one that the Washington Post claims "everyone should see."
