New photos posted from 1/11/10 on the photos page Hello Gardeners - - - Our Community Garden is sooooooo bountiful. Attached are some pix from Sunday afternoon. Several gardeners were hard at work picking their veggies and doing some weeding. Please remember to check your mailboxes. Lots of stuff has been left in the slots over the holidays. I placed a sticker in our shed that says "Grow What You Eat". The reverse is true also - - - "Eat What You Grow". It is amazing to see all that has been picked and more that is growing. Except for the root veggies where the entire plant gets picked, our lettuces, broccoli, squash, peas will reward us with more and more the more we pick. Hope to see you soon. Mary |
