Hello Gardeners - - - Just wanted to thank the gardeners who spread out the dirt and also started planting along the outside of the fence (very pretty) and around the fruit trees. I noticed several hills of pumpkins were planted and a couple of shoots have already broken through the soil. Thank you for taking that area with a sign so we know what is planted. I made a hill between the fruit trees and planted watermelon seeds. The California poppies around the trees look beautiful (thanks Ann and Tony).

The corn is doing very well. The soil was quite dry today so I gave that bed a good soaking. The recent heat, strong breezes and low humidity is sucking the moisture out of the soil.

Just a friendly reminder - - - check the communal plots inside and outside the fence and please water whenever you are at the garden. Thanks.
