Happy Autumn, fellow gardeners!!!  I am helping Evelyn, Mary and Erika with the 2nd Annual Fall Harvest Event which will be held Saturday, November 13 at 2:00 p.m.  As I did last year, I am asking for you folks to contribute what you can in the way of finger foods, beverages, paper goods, etc. for our guests.

 

If everyone brings what they brought last year, it will be a delicious, beautiful, yummy array of foods. We had veggie trays, fruit platters, cookies, cheese & crackers, punch, lemonade, hot cocoa, hot apple cider, cakes, chips and dip, etc.  And, we have several newcomers joining us this year. I believe we had 30-40 visitors last time, including all of us and our families. It was a good turn-out.

 

We can probably get electrical power (thanks to Chuck next door) like last time, to plug in a crock-pot or coffee urns for the cider and hot water for cocoa.

 

I noticed about 3 dozen plastic forks, white napkins, and 3 -12" round trays in the shed today. Aside from food and drink we also need:

 

3- 6' or 8' buffet tables

folding chairs

2 canopies; "E-Z Ups"

cups for hot and cold beverages

paper plates

forks, spoons

bottled water

Fall decorations for the serving tables and the tables inside the garden area

 

I'm sure I'm forgetting a thing or two.....
