Garden Club is meeting at the same place and time. Various vendors selling jewelry and cosmetics will be there. New feature to start at this month's produce exchange is a Heights Community Bulletin Board. You are welcome to post anything you want. July 2 Eric Garton of Rancho Santa Ana Botanical Gardens will discuss “Sex in Our Gardens: The secrets of pollination from an ecological point of view” August 6 Toni McLaughlin-Bostick of the Maloof Foundation will share of the wonders of this beautiful garden located just a few miles to the east at Alta Loma September 3 Debby Figoni of the Chino Basin Water Conservation District will present “Water Wise Gardening” from irrigation to water wise plants to what to plant and how to group them October 1 Susan Jett, Director of Horticulture at Rancho Santa Ana Botanical Gardens will share with us about the many great native plants that would love your home landscape. November 5 Fall Plant & Seed Exchange WHERE do we meet? The San Antonio Heights Gardening Club meets at the monthly Produce Exchange on the first Saturday of each month at the back parking lot of Life Bible Fellowship Church (2426 N. Euclid Avenue, Upland). All are welcome! There are no fees, just community fun and information all about gardening! You’re also welcome to bring plants or produce to trade at the Produce Exchange (this is optional and not necessary to attend the event). Please bring a chair and hat as the weather is getting warmer! |
