Those of you who responded were in agreement that we should let our newest gardener, Carol, use the planting strip by the east fence for container gardening.  Carol, looks like you have two spots for your containers. Can't wait to see what you plant :-)

A hearty "Thank You" to Tom Spellman of Dave's Nursery in northern CA. Tom is a local resident in my community and he donated an apricot tree for our community garden spot in the back. I have the tree and am caring for it until we can do a "tree planting".

I'll let you know which weekend I'll be planting our tree. Hopefully it will give us a reason to all get together :-)
