Please WELCOME a new gardener to our group. Her name is Jennifer and she will be taking over the plot long the east fence. Jennifer, it is nice to have you part of our Community Garden !

Also gardeners - - - this unseasonably warm weather is making your seeds and small plants thirsty. Please do some hand watering and adjust your irrigation. Lots of my dormant seeds that were planted in November have finally germinated and are growing once I started giving them a good watering about 3 wks ago.

At the end of this month I will know when we will be getting about 5 fruit trees to plant in the back of our garden area. We will have a work party to move the picnic table and benches, do weeding of the area (the warm temps got the weed seeds going again), and plant our trees. I am so excited.
