2012 Conference

The 2012 International Conference on Diseases in Nature Communicable to Man (INCDNCM) will be held on July 22-24th (Sunday-Tuesday) in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The local organizing committee from the Public Health Agency of Canada's National Microbiology Laboratory will be hosting the meeting focused on diseases at the animal-human-environment interface.

The 2012 R.R. Parker Memorial Speaker will be Dr. Harvey Artsob, presenting "Zoonotic Diseases: Marrying the Old with the New".

All technical sessions and keynote presentations will be held at the Humphry Inn and Suites (260 Main Street). This is about 12 blocks from the University of Winnipeg, and in July it would be a nice 20 minute walk there. A free shuttle bus between the University and Main Street is also available for those who prefer not to walk.

Sunday, July 22, 2012 is the annual information exchange event consisting of an educational day trip to Historical Lower Fort Garry (http://www.pc.gc.ca/eng/lhn-nhs/mb/fortgarry/index.aspx) and an evening "Meet and Greet" at the Humphry Inn and Suites.

The technical presentations will be on Monday, July 23 and Tuesday, July 24.

Submit abstracts for presentation or any questions to Robbin Lindsay or Mike Drebot

The full program will be available in late June or early July
