The Setting: LGP is a modest white ranch house situated on a little more than two beautifully treed acres at the bend in Alexander Road just before the bridge that crosses Little Bear Brook.  Not surprisingly, it is graced by a lovely pond which you pass as you walk up the drive.  And as you pass it, you pass into another world completely unlike the commercial district that fronts most of Alexander Road, you pass through the looking glass!  The house has been preserved in this storybook setting, but enhanced to make obvious its dedication to music and intimate entertaining. 

The Amenities: Features at LGP include a generously proportioned kitchen and common room, two teaching /rehearsal /practice or meeting rooms and a large studio  with a sound stage and separate audience seating area.

The Main Studio: The studio is designed to capture the immediacy of a live recording by placing the engineer in the soundproof booth while the musicians stay out in the main studio, free to make music in a natural acoustic environment. The studio listening experience rivals that to be had in many of the Princeton area’s fine halls and auditoria. 

Intimate, Sophisticated Entertaining: The combination of a state-of-the-art studio adjoining a flexible entertaining space, all set in an amazingly natural landscape, makes possible intimate, yet sophisticated gatherings  not readily accommodated, even in dedicated catering venues. 

• Student Recitals: Music teachers reward your students’ hard work and parents’ commitment with a professional recital and reception.  Two marvelous pianos available.
• Private Performances: Performers of many types can put together their own shows and generate their own audiences, free of the burdens of  inattentive diners.
• Private Screenings: Film lovers can share a private showing of their favorite films without hearing the thoughtless chatter of an anonymous  audience.  Even have a lecture/ discussion and reception after the film!
