Welcome to the Official site of John Howard.  With the 2008 season completed Howard ended up in 4th place in the Southern California region of the National Auto Sport Association Honda Challenge series.  His 1999 Honda Civic EX is classified in the H4 class, where the competition has been fierce.  In his first trip to the National Championships John was able to take 3rd place!  Overall last year was good to John, and this season is working out well so far!

For 2009 John teamed up with Edik Stepanyan (four time H4 Champion) to form team John Howard.  They shared the car at certain races throughout the year and Edik's vast knowledge helped John and the car pick up even more speed.  With 12 races completed, team John Howard was in a fierce battle for 3rd place (including drops) in the in the championship, having earned five top 5's, three podiums, and two wins.

At this time team John Howard is withdrawing from the regional championship, leaving Terry Rossi, Johnny Mac and Ben Tang to battle it out.  John is currently studying in the UK at Oxford Brookes University seeking an MSc in Motorsport Engineering.  There he will further his education and expand his motorsport knowledge in the hopes of being able to advance his career in the motorsports industry.  It was a hard decision to leave for England, especially with such close competition in H4, but John is so far excited about his studies and looks forward to what the future holds.
