The steps required to establish include:

• Making a decision on the land use mechanism and legal structure - (Done: Rural Landsharing Communities, SEPP 15)
  
• Gathering documentation to support Land Use Change DA to Council - (Current)
• Get pre-lodgement advice from Council's Development Control Unit (Senior Town Planner, Senior Health and Building Surveyor and the Senior Development Engineer)
• Submitting DA for Land Use Change to council
• Research most appropriate legal entity - (Current)
  
• Creating legal entity
• Developing ecovillage cultural, environmental and financial framework. (ie How we do things here) - (Current)
