Date: March 12 -14, 2010

Location: Mid South Convention - Olive Branch, MS

Occasion: Waypoint 9 - Reunited at MSC28!

By Roland Mann with comments by Herika R Raymer

On March 12-14, after nearly a decade, Roland Mann was the “comic industry guest” at the Sci-Fi/Comics Convention of MidSouthCon, which was held in Olive Branch, Mississippi!

Being able to visit with local relatives, and treating his daughter - Brittany - to her first Con, Rolan Mann met up with faces he had not seen in years. He was seated next to a couple of guys he worked with while in Malibu. They were the talented artists known as well. Dean Zachary, Mitch Foust, and Jim Hall. He remarked on how they practically didn’t move from their joint booth for the entire three days, steadily drawing whatever was requested by fans. It was here that Roland Mann would meet Imagicopter founder David Blalock. Apparently Mr. Blalock made and impression on Mr. Mann, because when he met Novelist Bryan Davis, he spoke with him briefly and even had the chance to try to recruit him a little for Imagicopter. We are happy to report that, since this meeting, Mr. Mann has joined Imagicopter! We look forward to seeing him at future events!

We also hope to see more of his voodoo devil dolls!

-- taken from Rolan Mann's Rambling Weblog, see it for full article!

In the meantime it appeared that D. A. Adams, H. David Blalock, Tyree Campbell, Windsong Levitch, and Stephen Zimmer were all having a grandiose time! Kerlak Publishing managed to wow crowds with their Plot Bunnies and their Squirrels of Mass Distraction. The plush animals meant
as writer props were so popular that there is standing order for them, and Kerlak has hinted more of the plushies are on the way!

Thank you Whispering Woods for being such a wonderful host to MidSouthConventions!
