Il Sono is a men's vocal ensemble dedicated to performing diverse repertoire – from Monteverdi to Verdi and beyond. We are a volunteer, project-based ensemble comprised of experienced, seasoned musicians dedicated to music-making of the highest calibre.
Il Sono is a not-for-profit organization that believes music can bring awareness to, and help remedy, social issues such as poverty and discrimination. By using our talents to help those in need, we hope to enrich the lives of both those who come to hear our concerts and those who benefit from the proceeds. We encourage others to contribute to the same end.

Join Calgary premiere men's vocal ensemble for a concert celebrating the versatility of the male voice. As one of our members puts it, we will be singing "Over 400 years of the Manliest Music" from Palestrina to Billy Joel. Don't want to miss this night of fun and uplifting music for the male voice!

Proceeds from His Sound will benefit the Canadian Hemochromatosis Society. Hemochromatosis causes excess iron in the blood and is the most common genetic disorder in Canada.
