How to use Sailing Stopwatch in a regatta

There should be two officers; “Paper” and “Android”
Paper officer will write down sail numbers by pen on the paper. At front of every sail number there should be a sequential line number.
Android officer will record times by Sailing Stopwatch.
When there is spare time between finishing boats, the Android officer will enter sail number to Sailing Stopwatch and Paper officer will write down the finishing time on the same line where that sail number is. This paper document with sail numbers and times is also very good backup, if something happens to the phone (phone drops in to the water, phone runs out of battery, ..).
After all boats have finished, data (times + sail numbers) will be exported to SailWave.csv file.
SaliWave.csv can be Emailed or copied by some other way to the SailWave computer where the file can be imported to the SailWave.

The fist step is to export SaliWave data to xml-file and copy it to Android pohones sdcard. If you have multiple sdcards in your phone, use the internal one.
Start Sailing StopWatch and you should see the xml-files, which you have copied to the phone. Tap the xml file whcich you want to import.
Start recording times and enter sailnumbers (from the list) when you have time.
Export results data to csv-file to be imported into the SailWave.
Look at the menu to see other options.

Notes:
Start times have to be in format hh:mm:ss. Every Class have to have own start time.
If you don't import xml-file into Sailing StopWatch, the start times will be empty. Importing results csv file with empty start times into SailWave will set start times to 00:00. To set start times what they should be, do Edit race for each start before Scoring.

Corrected times will not be exported for SailWave.
