Ping is an Android application that simply allows you to ping an IP address or hostname.

My comments: - Some people have requested "traceroute". Unfortunately, traceroute isn't available in all phones. So I might not be introducing it otherwise people will complain that it is not working.
- I wanted the ability to bring up the numeric pad by default as well, but it's not possible for now. (Technical Note: if I set the InputType to numeric, it doesn't allow a dot to be entered as it is not a number)
