Bicclescombe Park

Bicclescombe Park is in the heart of Ilfracombe and has been awarded Green Flag status for seven years in a row. This is the national standard for parks and green spaces. The park is home to seven tennis courts, a children’s play area, restored corn mill, picnic area and tearooms.

photo - junior park rangers at Bicclescombe

This year around 90 children took part in the annual Junior Park Rangers scheme at the park. It covers topics such as plants, recycling, mini beasts, bird watching, orienteering and a tree trail. By the end of the course the children knew all about the importance of parks and open spaces and why we need to look after them for future generations.

Halloween treasure hunt

Come and join in at Bicclescombe Park on Sunday 31 October. More details will be available on our website nearer the time.
