To encourage as many of you to sign up early to Badminton England (BE) & Devon County Badminton Association (DCBA), there will be no membership fee
for the club. Membership of the club will effectively occur by completing
membership to BE & DCBA. The BE fees are £9.30 for a senior member & £4.65 for a junior member. The DCBA fees are £4.50 senior & £2.25 junior. The total costs would therefore be: Senior Club Member (SCM): £13.80 Junior Club Member (JCM): £6.90 Those not signed up to BE & DCBA will be treated as guests of the club. Currently there is no differentiated charge for attending sessions, but this may be something that will occur after a certain date, although this will only likely be 50p per session extra whilst you remain a guest & could be recoverable if you subsequently join BE as a member of the Ilfracombe Badminton Club. Junior Club: There is a 'club' affiliation fee of £46.20 payable to BE for the 'junior' club. A Junior within the Junior Club (JJC) pays no individual membership fee.This scenario applies to juniors attending junior only sessions. Details of the benefits of membership can be found on the Badminton England website. The more players we have in our area who are registered, the more support we will get from Badminton England. |
