Wish List

Below is a "wish list" for our classroom this year.  We will update it as we find a specific need that we have in our classroom.  Please don't feel an obligation to spend a lot of money to purchase items on this list.  Some of the items that are added to this list throughout the year might be items that someone might have extra of around the house, etc...  We appreciate all the assistance that we can get. 
 
Items we need for the classroom:
 
loose leaf paper
tissue
pencils
graph paper
dry erase markers-we need all colors of these badly!
 
 
  1. Parent Volunteers-- We could utilize parent volunteers for the following roles:
    • Thursday Reader's Workshop Group Leaders--We could use more parents who would be able to come in during Language class on Fridays (8:20 AM - 9:30 AM).  You would be working with 4-6 students in a small reading group.  These parent volunteers will lead group discussions about the current novel they are reading and participate in oral reading time.
    • General Classroom Help:  This could include making copies, organizing, and grading.
