Student President:
Presides over IJAS Student Board meetings. Prepares meetings, makes sure all positions are doing duties, and sees that all mailings are taken care of. Puts finishing touches on projects. Sees that all assignments are carried out for the year. Is in charge of the speaker and making 700 copies of the banquet brochure to place at each seat at the banquet. The president is also responsible of getting a guest speaker for the upcoming year. Lastly, the president is also the master of ceremonies at the Fridaynight banquet.
Student Vice President:
Assists the President in execution of his/her duties. Is in charge of all ticket sales for the banquet on Friday prior to the state fair. The Vice President is also responsible for reserving the Illini Room for the banquet while dealing with the menu and catering. He or she should make the banquet ticket order form and have it ready for February mailing.
Student Secretary:
Records the minutes of the meetings and sends them out to all officers and Board of Directors immediately after each meeting. Keeps a record of minutes from all meetings for review upon a later date. In charge of all correspondence for the group.

*Banquet:
Makes center pieces and creates game for Friday Banquet. Should have thoughts on center piece ideas and game prizes by the fall meeting. By the winter meeting they should be able to bring an example of the center piece to show the rest of the board.
*Design Contest:
Checks design contest form in May. Receives all designs and brings to February meeting for judging. After picking the winning designs they must contact each design winner and the state board treasurer so he/she can make out the checks to the winners. The design contest chairperson also has to announce the design contest winners and give them the checks they receive for winning at the banquet on the Friday before the state exposition.
*Elections:
Prepares Election Application and has it ready for February mailing. Prepares for release incoming position requirements; reviews all and summarizes the eligible applications for presentation to the Board. Makes a binder with all the information in it. (The student advisor keeps one copy, the original signatures for the treasurer, and the others to the chairs.) Make copies of applications for student officers to review.
*Runners:
Makes and has form (asking for Runners) ready for February mailing. Is in charge of all runners and banners for the state fair.
*Student Essay:
Reviews student essay form. Essay winners go to the student advisor. Chair then notifies winners for their time slot between 1:30 and 2:30 on Friday before the fair day. Also sends a letter out to all winners going to state level competition stating when and where they are to present their essay. Must also tell all participants and participants sponsor that they may attend banquet (all participants in state level competition of essay contest receive tickets but parents must pay). Reviews all essays before bringing them to the state fair and makes 10 copies of each. Reviews and copies judging rubric.
*Game:
Creates/modifies the game for the Friday banquet. Brings sample game to the fall meeting, and finalized version to winter meeting. Have prizes ready for games.
