This web site is for the 2007 batch 2nd year M.Tech. students of the CSE department at IIT Madras. On this web site, you will find information related to CS597(seminar), seminar schedule, documents that contain suggestions for writing reports and preparing for presentations, and most importantly the feedback that is being provided each week by the faculty advisors.

You can find official LaTeX template (document style files, etc.) for  M.Tech. project thesis here. You can find requirements of plain English style and rules of usage of English language for writing, in William Strunk Jr.'s classic The Elements of Style here.

We also have a related course web site in Moodle (accessible only to students of IIT Madras). Here we intend to make available all students' technical reports and presentation slides. If you have completed your seminar, we request you to submit your technical report and presentation slides, by emailing them to cs597_iitm_2008_collaborators@googlegroups.com.

 

We intend to update this web site regularly. We hope to have captured all the feedback given so far by the faculty advisors.
