The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) is one of the premier management institutions in India. Over the past ten years of academic excellence, IIMK has seen tremendous improvement in all areas including industry interaction. The rising curve of excellence has put IIMK in the orbit of international management institutions. With various activities in all fields of education covering research, faculty training, consulting and infrastructure development, IIMK is striving for improvement of management systems in the country. The Institute emphasizes on development of analytical skills and is known for its focus on global and cross-cultural issues.

IIMK strives to groom business leaders who are an asset to the society and are able to strike proper balance between business demands and social concerns. The curriculum is designed to encourage the students develop their quest for excellence and meticulous planning.  The learning doesn’t stop with the academics and IIMK also encourages students to take up innovative and purposeful social development projects to help the society.

One of the most beautiful campuses in Asia, IIMK is located at Kunnamangalam, Kozhikode, (previously known as Calicut) in the State of Kerala, the God's own Land.  Calicut found a place in World History with the discovery of sea route to India in 1498 by the Portuguese navigator Vasco Da Gama hence establishing Indo-European business relationship over 500 years ago. Kunnamangalam is famous for a large number of small green hills, a unique feature that cannot be described but only experienced. The scenic campus is located on a hill-top which adds to the exotic locale and the scenic beauties of the place.
