Ident-a-Kid

posted ‎‎Sep 1, 2009 5:49 PM‎‎ by Fredlyne Paul

Greetings,

This is just a reminder that Ident-A-Kid will visit IIAM tomorrow (Wednesday, September 2).

By now, you should have been provided with an ID card for your child. Remember to return that to the school with all the parent information filled out.

Tomorrow, Ident-A-Kid will weigh, measure, photograph and fingerprint any student who brings a return form from their parents.

Ident-A-Kid forms part of the nation's Amber Alert system. The information Ident-A-Kid collects is retained in that systems' national database, and in the database of state justice departments across the nation.

For more information, you may call Julie Costanzo at 770-993-5097.

posted ‎‎Aug 22, 2009 11:59 AM‎‎ by Imagine Mableton

August 22, 2009
Hello Faithful First Grade Family,

This week students will need a blank envelope with a stamp on it for a Math activity. They will also need to know their address. If they still do not know it, please have them write it down and bring it in with their stamped envelope. Students will also need to bring in two blue balloons (just in case one pops) for a Social Studies activity. Please bring in all items by Tuesday, August 25, 2009.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Lunch News

posted ‎‎Aug 20, 2009 5:33 PM‎‎ by Imagine Mableton

We are pleased to announce that Annie Mae's Home Cookn' Inc. (Debra Craig) located in Lithia Springs is the vendor we have chosen to provide healthy and nutritious meals for our students. Typically, school meals will need to be ordered in advance one month at a time. We accept money order payments only.

Daily Prices:

Lunch (includes milk):  $3.50        Milk Only: $0.50

                                                     Lunch Guidelines and Procedures:

  • Bring your order form to the school office before the 18 every month - NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • Please include a MEAL ORDER FORM and MONEY ORDER ONLY, clearly marked with the CHILD'S NAME, GRADE, TEACHER'S NAME. Sorry, NO CASH or CHECKS are accepted.
  • ALL lunches are ordered ONE MONTH in advance. Once orders have been placed to the caterer, we are not allowed to make any changes.
  • We are unable to accommodate same day orders, same day payments, late menus or menus without payment.
  • NO outside vendor lunches are permitted (i.e. McDonald's, Wendy's Burger King, etc.). NO sodas.
  • For the safety of the students, microwaving is prohibited.
  • If there is a credit on your account, it does not automatically insure your child a hot lunch. All the above steps must be followed for us to provide your child with a lunch.
  • All lunches include milk.
  • FYI, if your child is eating a lunch, a MEAL ORDER FORM must be provided every month for each child.
  • We do not grant credits for lunch, unless the school was closed. If your child missed a day of school, the lunch was still ordered in advance.
  • If orders are not filled out exactly as requested, they will be returned and your child will need to provide a lunch from home for the month.
  • If a child forgets his/her lunch, an alternative lunch will be provided, based on the premise that you will pay your bill in the amount of $3.50. Once we have provided the student with an unpaid lunch for two consecutive days, we will have to call the parent to come and provide a lunch for his/her child.
Thank you very much for your cooperation and we are looking forward to a safe, healthy, and productive year.
