I decided to take the 11AM ride and eat later. I wandered over from the registration area and first took a look at some of the train cars in the museum area. Gave a feel for what it was like back at the beginning of the 20th century when the NHVRR was running as a comercial railroad. I watched when they switched out the diesel for the steam locomotive and then ALL ABOARD! This is the New Hope Valley RR that we took a ride on. Before the train ride, families got to take a tour of our steam engine and if you were lucky they let you ring the bell.
