IEEE ENCS Picnic

Setting Up

This year, the volunteers to set up the picnic included:
Tom Jepsen, Chris Siegl, Roger Lawrence, John Baker, Larry Leise, John Powell, Lee Griffin, Emmanuel Agamloh, and Jim Sund. In addition to the official volunteers there seemed to be a lot of extra helpers around to make the work go quickly.
We all showed up around 8:30 and put things together. Chris Siegl brought some doughnut holes to keep us from starving and some kind soul went on a DEET run so the pesky morning mosquitoes would leave us alone.

All those tents we sat under were assembled from lots of little parts.

Roger Lawrence is demonstrating the correct procedure for attaching part A to part B.

Q: How many engineers does it take to assemble a tent?

A: n+1, where n is the number of available volunteers.

John Powell is taping down the custom table cloths where you may have eaten your picnic lunch.
