Hi Brent and the rest of the IT 6750 class,
I'm noticing that I am being asked to log into some of the blogs and porfolio sites when I try to add in a comment. I was able to comment on Danielle Beck's and Carole Vowell's sites, but was asked to log in to Word Press for both Jennifer Cohen's and Karen Abrams' sites. There must be a way to allow comments without having to log in, but I don't know how, so sorry, Jennifer and Karen - I wanted to make a comment, but couldn't. I'll try later if I figure it out.
Diane
Update on what I wrote above:
I went into my email and had to accept a comment before it was posted. Word Press put me into Manage > Posts where I had to click approve and then the comment was posted on my blog. I'm not sure if this will help anyone else, but if you are checking on your blog and no one has made a comment, go check your email and you may have a message from Word Press with the subject "please moderate."
Diane
Both your comments are helpful, Diane. Check your blog settings to make sure people can make comments. If you choose to moderate a blog, comments will come to you for review.
I would encourage everyone to make posting comments easy if possible. You can always go in and remove unhelpful comments.
I have changed the link to my blog and opened the blog up to comments. Thanks Diane.
