Delicious - A collaboration site used to save and share resources on the Web. You can set up an account for free and access your resources anywhere, as well as view other people's resources. Contributed by Dylan Dyer.

Dropbox - Secure file backup, sync, and sharing. An invaluable tool for file access. You assign a folder to "dropbox" and are able to access that folder on line: upload, download, and save new versions of files already in the folder. It also lets you link two computers to the same folder and have them update as you add, delete, or change files from either computer. Contributed by Rhianna Ulrich.

eLearn Magazine - Education and technology articles that cover design, technology, usage, business, and culture. Contributed by Rickey Moggio
 
Elluminate - This is a great site on which you can set up video, audio, or text chat rooms. (I frequently use this with my students to help them work together on concepts and skills at home. I especially like allowing one student to be the "expert" in the room, facilitating the discussion.) Contributed by Laura Wood.
 
Google Lessons -  Provides lesson plans on using keywords, how search engines work, and features of Google search.  Contributed by Laura Wood.
 
Grooveshark - A site that allows you to search by artist, title, genre, or album for songs and then stream them.  You can even create playlists.  Contributed by Laura Wood.
 
IdeaPaint - A really neat site about creating a place anywhere and on any wall to share information. Contributed by Ellen Reeder.

Infinite Thinking Machine - This is a great website that helps teachers and students to thrive in the 21st century classroom.  It has a ton of videos that introduce the audience to all kinds of new and helpful resources.  You can download the RSS feed from this site into I-tunes, Blogger, or any site that allows you to have an open RSS feed.  Contributed by Jessie Shipman

KeepandShare – Keep and Share is a group file sharing system. Accounts are password-controlled and secure enough to store sensitive information.Contributed by Weaam Almuzain.

Lingro - A free online dictionary that allows you to import websites and documents. Once you do that you can click on any word in the document and get the definition for it. This is a really cool in class tool especially if you have access to a tablet or a SMART board. Contributed by Jessie Shipman.

Log Me In - Remote access and desktop control site. It can be used to log into a home computer from work/school/etc to pull & get files or things that you don't have on you (I also use it to log myself into my parent's computers from my home to help them troubleshoot compute issues). It is free and you can have multiple computers on one account. Contributed by Rhianna Ulrich.

Netiquette For Kids - Gives simple bullet points on internet etiquette written in kid-friendly language. A good support if students are just starting out as "netizens." Contributed by Laura Wood.

Nicenet - Nicenet's Internet Classroom Assistant provides access to tools like conferencing, personal messaging, document sharing, scheduling, and link/resource sharing. Everything in Nicenet is offered free for public use. Contributed by Rhianna Ulrich.
 
Nine Shift - Here is a good site for our future reflection paper.  It is from the LERN association.  It is based on a book called Nine Shift, you can download the first chapter which pretty much explains the key points. Contributed by Marisa Tapia.

ooVoo – ooVoo offers a free 2-way video chat service and a 6-way text chat. The site can also be used to record and send short video messages.Contributed by Weaam Almuzain

Screencast - A place to upload, manage, and share high quality videos, presentations, documents and images. Contributed by Sarah Kayser.

Site Pal - A service that allows you to add a customizable speaking avatar to a website, Flash site, or email. Contributed by Rhianna Ulrich.
 
Slideboom - Upload large PowerPoint files and keep your animations. Slideshare.com is a great area, too, but your slides don't keep their animations after the upload. Contributed by Ellen Reeder.

Songza - A fun place to find music and create playlists. Contributed by Ellen Reeder
 
Squidoo - A visual thinking school. This site is different every time you visit: it's continuously updated via live feeds from the web to bring you the best and most delicious images and links available: visuals to inspire, examples to follow, books to read and things to do, designed to stimulate your imagination and visual thinking. Teach-nology - Teach-nology is site that offers a wide variety of recourses such as lesson plans, rubrics, worksheets and theme ideas that help incorporate technology into teaching. Contributed by Nicole Deaver.

TeamViewer - Free remote support, meetings/presentations, an access. This free software establishes connections to any PC server around the world. Contributed by Collin Sutherland.

Ubidesk - An online collaboration workspace where you can run team projects with document collaboration and task management. Ubidesk is offered as a SaaS (Software as a Service), and you can use it through your web browser anywhere anytime. Contributed by Weaam Almuzain.

Voicethread - A site to create video and photo slideshows and invite others to view your creation. They can comment via typing, drawing, or speaking. Contributed by Laura Wood.

Vyew - A relatively new collaboration platform that can be used for webinars, online conferences, and real-time learning and instruction. No installation is required and all activity can be tracked and logged.Contributed by Weaam Almuzain.

Webex - A management system to create, manage, and deliver interactive online training. Typically used for conferences, collaboration, and distance/virtual learning. Contributed by Suzie Rose.

Wridea - Wridea makes it easy to collaborate and share ideas with colleagues, team members, and fellow learners. This brainstorming tool organizes and categorizes ideas onto different pages, provides unlimited storage, and allows users to comment on topics and ideas.Contributed by Weaam Almuzain.

Zoho - A free Web 2.0 application that provides collaboration tools including mail, word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, document management, notebook, wiki pages, accounting programs, reporting, graphs, people tracking, marketing solutions, etc. Contributed by Sarah Kayser.

AERA 2010 Annual Meeting - The American Educational Research Association is devoted to improving the educational process by encouraging scholarly inquiry related to education. The AERA Annual Meeting will be held Friday, April 30 - Tuesday, May 4 in Denver. The theme will be "Understanding Complex Ecologies in a Changing World." Contributed by Kay Miller.

DevLearn 2009 - November 11-13, San Jose CA. A convention to explore ideas and technologies for e-Learning. Contributed by Suzie Rose.
 
eLearning 2010 - February 20-23, 2010, Fort Worth, TX. The friendliest and most comprehensive annual distance learning conference you will find for eLearning practitioners. Contributed by Rickey Moggio

eLearning Consortium of Colorado Annual Conference - A conference in support of the eLCC organizational goal: to enhance educational opportunities by providing up-to-date resources and information about teaching and learning using technology. Presenters are from various types of educational institutions, with the majority from higher education two- and four-year schools. GIMP - GNU Image Manipulation Program. This is a free, open-source software that allows users to do photo retouching, image composition, and take screenshots. Contributed by Sarah Kayser.

Good-Tutorials - Tutorials for programs like Illustrator, Java, Photoshop, and Flash submitted by users. Contributed by Suzie Rose.
 
HTML Web Color Table with RGB and HSB Values - This Excel spreadsheet lists all of the HTML colors by name, along with their corresponding RGB and HSB values AND samples of text in the colors on black and white backgrounds and samples of black and white text on the various color backgrounds. Great for web designers. As an added bonus for developers, the second page contains a textbox with the VB code used to create all of the examples. Contributed by Rhianna Ulrich.

AIGA  - The professional association for design. This site contains inspiration links, professional resources, education and membership to their group. Contributed by Suzie Rose.


American Educational Research Association (AERA) - A research-oriented organization concerned with improving the educational process by encouraging scholarly inquiry related to education and evaluation and by promoting the dissemination and practical application of research results. AERA's national conference will be held in Denver in 2010. Contributed by Kay Miller.
 
The Association for Learning Technology - An association which seeks to bring together all those with an interest in the use of learning technology. Contributed by Rhianna Ulrich.

Boulder Denver New Technologists - A large networking group for high-tech startups that meets once a month at Tivoli Turnhalle (there is another monthly meeting in Boulder). Instructional designers have been known to find jobs through this group. Contributed by Kay Miller.

Boulder Digital Arts - An organization that provides training in video production, website enhancement, digital photography, graphic design and marketing. Contributed by Kay Miller.

eLearning Consortium of Colorado (formerly Telecoop) - A coalition of public and private colleges, universities, K-12 education, private sector business and public television stations dedicated to the enhancement of educational opportunities through distance learning. Project H. Design - A charitable organization that supports, creates, delivers, and scales life-improving humanitarian product design solutions. They champion industrial design as a tool to address social issues, a vehicle for global life improvement, and a catalyst for individual and community empowerment (mission statement). A.D.D.I.E. Resource -- A resource site developed by the Idaho State University College of Education that contains succinct outline of A.D.D.I.E. method including description, samples, and problems. Contributed by Rickey Moggio

BibMe - is a free automatic bibliography generator that supports MLA, APA, Chicago, and Turabian formatting. BibMe leverages databases provided by Amazon, FindArticles, Yahoo! News, and CiteULike to quickly and accurately AutoFill citation information for you. BibMe will then format the citation information according to the rules and guidelines of the style guides. If you prefer, you can enter your citation information manually. BibMe also contains a quick citation guide to show students the correct syntax for citing in various formats.  (Sarah Kayser)
