Melanie Oxley  Oct 6, 1958 - March 17, 2012 Melanie Oxley, 53, passed away March 17, 2012 after a long battle with many health issues. She was born October 6, 1958 in Elko, Nevada. Melanie met her partner in life, Jack Frost, 26 years ago in California. Melanie graduated with an AA degree in graphic arts and taught American Sign Language at Great Basin Community College. She had a love for arts and crafts.  Melanie is survived by mother, Myrna Oxley-Miller and preceded in death by father, Wilfred Oxley. She is also survived by sisters Rosemary Crago, Karen MacPherson, brother Kim Oxley and their families.  Throughout her life she had a strong spirit and positive outlook. Melanie inspired her friends and family with her courageous will. She will be deeply missed by her family and those in the deaf community.
