The Israeli Center for Third Sector research (ICTR) was established at the Ben-Gurion University in 1997 in order to conduct
and promote academic research and study on Civil Society, the
Third Sector, and related fields in Israel and worldwide. ICTR is a
multi- and inter-disciplinary center serving researchers and students from
all academic disciplines, universities and colleges.
ICTR has initiated and participated in various international and
comparative research projects, and it works in close cooperation
with research centers and associations around the world.
