Conference Proceedings: All presented contributions will be published in the official proceedings, which will have an assigned ISBN number. The deadline for abstracts and full papers to enter the review process is 8th June 2012. Please send submissions to papers@icbme.com. All participants will receive one CD copy of the proceedings upon registration at the conference. Policy on Refereeing: You have the choice of submitting either an abstract or full paper. If you submit an abstract by the deadline, then this is double-blind refereed. If you submit a full paper by the deadline, this also is double-blind refereed. The referees are independent, qualified experts. If you have submitted only an abstract - only an abstract is published in the "Abstract Reviewed" (AR) section of the proceedings. If you have submitted a full paper, then the full paper is published in the "Refereed Papers" (RP) section of the proceedings. If you have submitted only an abstract, but subsequently sent a full paper by 8th June 2012 then that paper will be published in the "Papers - Abstract Refereed" (PAR) section of the proceedings.
Prizes The ICBME is awarding two prizes for full papers presented. The Best Paper Award The Best Doctoral Paper Award For your paper to be considered for one of these prizes, it must be submitted by the above paper deadline. To be eligible for the Best Doctoral Paper Award, a student must be listed as first author on the paper. If you are a doctoral student, please indicate this on your submission.
Fees The conference fee is 490 US dollars per person. For registered postgraduate students, there is a reduced fee of 320 US dollars. Such students should scan and email official confirmation of their status to students@icbme.com by 8th June 2012. All fees are payable by 8th June 2012. Please note that no refunds of conference fees can be given.

Paper format To facilitate editing and publication, papers should be between 3-6,000 words, typed in Times New Roman 12 pt. font, and double-spaced. It is strongly recommended that authors follow the APA style in formatting and listing references.
