2010 International Conference on Applied Linguistics (ICAL) Theme: Diverse Languages for Diverse Audience Nov. 27-28, 2010. Call for Papers Abstract Deadline Extension: November 30, 2009 Objectives The conference objectives are to further research in all issues concerning languages, and create collaborations among leading research universities and organizations. The ICAL is a forum for the exchange of ideas among linguists, applied linguists, sociolinguists, writers, scholars, and educators of languages. Focus To meet the theme of the conference, we hope that the conference papers will focus on the diverse facet of language, which includes the verbal-sign and non-verbal sign systems. Proposals addressing this or the following themes are welcome.
