Welcome to the website of the IAVCEI Remote Sensing Commission. This site is under construction. Aims: To promote the use of field, airborne, and spaceborne remote sensing techniques for the analysis of volcanic eruptions and the mitigation of volcanic hazards. We recommend that anyone interested in tracking volcanic clouds using remote sensing techniques, and who wishes to keep abreast of the latest events, should join the Volcanic Clouds discussion group.
