One may think that with all the advancements in science and the prevention of further use of the chemical that all traces will be gone from these countries.  The people who fought in Vietnam who were in their 20's then are in their 50's and 60's now.  These people were most likely affected the greatest and were dealt the most harm.  Their children carry on their shoulders the burden even more due to the fact that most were born with a serious defects or deformity. Even now, shown in a BBC report, problems still arise and the grandchildren of Vietnam veterans are still being affected greatly from the usage of Dioxin.
