a few words about me....

Choosing a flight instructor is one of the most important things you can do in realizing your dream of learning how to fly.  I believe it is best to interview 3 people and see whose teaching style and schedule best fits you.  I feel fortunate to have always worked in a field I enjoy and consider it a priveldge to help others learn to fly.

Thanks for considering me in your search for a flight instructor.

My education: I earned a BS in Aeronautical Studies w/Mgmnt from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach 1987

My teaching style: I teach like I learn, I have a goal and a plan for each lesson. I use a syllabus as a guide, so we both know what to be prepared for.

My flying experience:

I have been a pilot since 1983 and a flight instructor since 1998. I have worked as a flight instructor in the busy airspaces of Southern and Northern California first in Orange County and now mostly at South County Airport in San Martin, California. As well as many years in Lincoln Park NJ, in the JFK,LGA, EWR area.

While instructing in  NJ I also flew for a company flying Cessna Caravans out of Teterboro, that took passengers to  Nantucket during the summer and all year long and at night cargo from JFK to Canada and upstate NY. For a short time I worked for a company out of Rockland ME taking their passengers to various airports in the Northeast as well as tourists to Cat Island, Bahamas from Fort Lauderdale.

I am currently living in Worland Wyoming and flying pipeline survey part-time.

I feel fortunate to have always worked in a field I enjoy and consider it a priveldge to help others learn to fly.
